Is exercising making my heel pain worse?
If you are in acute pain, then we recommend rest. Our goal at NJ Heel Pain Centers is get you back on your feet quickly as possible. As a runner myself, I understand the importance of exercise in everyone’s life. However, if you continue to run and jump on your painful heel, you might be causing more damage than good. This can lead to stress fractures and now your recovery time has a major set back. Once you get better, we will prescribe a regimen of stretching and strengthening and a plan to ease back into your activities.
